This week I am joined by the D-IV Girls Cross Country Valley Champion Lindsay’s MaKaylie Caesar and head coach of the Cardinals Orlando Bentiez.
We talk about the start of the race for MaKaylie that led to her first title and the thought process behind getting out so fast. How training for a full 24 weeks has developed MaKaylie into the runner that she is.
With MaKaylie getting out to such a fast start we talk about the positives and negatives that come along with running by yourself. I ask coach Bentiez about the training that MaKaylie goes through and how the form has developed of his first Valley Champion. Finally, we talk about the game plan is going into the State Championship meet.
All that and much more on this week’s episode of the Sportspeak Podcast.
