Myself and my co-host for this week’s show, The Papertrail Podcast’s very own, Paul Myers have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to high school sports. This week we discuss an event that caused the entire gym at a local girl’s high school basketball game to be cleared of all spectators.
With 38 seconds left in the game the Exeter Monarchs trailed the Dinuba Emperors by one point. Two technical fouls on the fans not only gave Dinuba extra chances at the free throw line but forced the Exeter administration at the game to clear the stands of all non-participating persons.
Paul and I discuss our thoughts on the actions of our ala mater, and what we have seen at various sporting events. We talk about the feed back from the community, both connected with the high school, and not. Finally, we talk about what the CIF says on this incident.
All that and much more on this week’s episode of The Sportspeak Podcast.
